Мне приснился прекрасный сон. В нём невозможно красивые люди рассказывали свои истории, и каким-то образом все эти истории были обо мне. Потом оказалось, что все мы находимся в зале театра. Спектакль всё не начинался, я огляделся и понял, что актеры находятся в зале, вместе со зрителями, и в ожидании спектакля все присутствующие общаются между собой так, как будто знакомы много лет, столько же лет не виделись и наконец встретились. Голоса звучали одновременно, но это была полифония, каждый голос был слышен в отдельности, и вместе с тем они были созвучны. Потом наступила тишина, и из этой тишины возник спектакль, действие которого чем-то напоминало фильмы известного польского режиссера, имя которого я никак не мог вспомнить. Происходящее на сцене сложно укладывалось в слова, потому что в основном состояло из хрупкой, хрустальной тишины и света, переливающейся, изменчивой цветовой гаммы. Это было очень красиво: насыщенный синий, бледнея, превращался в холодный, почти прозрачный, белый, который, мрачнея, становился тревожным, угрожающим, кроваво красным и после, как солнце, которое в последний момент передумало закатываться и взошло, расцвел, став ослепительно ярким, тёплым – абрикосовым.

A performance that contains the beauty, horror, fragility and irony of reality, from which it flows and to which it returns.
A performance about Xronotope Temporary Association failing to make a performance based on David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest — first because of the pandemic, then — the war. The performance that didn’t happen turns out to be the perfect form for the infinite process of performative realities intertwining.
We gathered with the actors of the National Theatre in Yerevan and watched the series of films by Krzysztof Kieślowski: “Blue”, “White”, “Red”. The narrative brought everyone to their own biography, their personal trauma and frustrations, out of which, in turn, the narrative of the performance was born. The performance is a real drama of life that can be found in infinitely mirroring artistic realities of theatre and cinema.

The temporary association team is constantly updated and consists of people located in different countries and time zones. These are artists, directors, producers, playwrights, sound designers and people who do not have a professional identity. The people of Xronotope are united by friendship, and despite obvious differences of views, stances, passions and areas of expertise, their point of view regarding something important is invariably the same.
